Top Music and Podcast Apps on iOS in Algeria, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the iOS music and podcast app market in Algeria showcased interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower data, the top five apps experienced varied performance in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Music X - Full Music Player saw a noticeable fluctuation in downloads, peaking at around 17.3K in mid-July before settling to approximately 6K by late September. The app maintained a strong presence in active users, increasing from 49.8K to 86.9K over the quarter, although it did not generate significant revenue.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a steady download rate, starting at 3.8K and rising to 5.2K by the end of September. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 65K, while revenue generation was not a focus for this period.

Music X - Simple Music Stream had a notable surge in downloads, jumping from 3.3K to nearly 16K in the final week of September. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from 3.5K to 15.4K, with a minor revenue increase observed at the end of the quarter.

Audiomack - Play Music Offline experienced a moderate increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads grew from 1.9K to 4.1K, and active users increased from 9.5K to 14.6K. Revenue was minimal but showed some variability throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Music : Offline Player had a decline in downloads from 2.8K to 1.2K, while active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 3.3K to 3.9K. Revenue generation was not significant during this period.
